Documentation of WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates has been in force since February 1st, 2018.  The GPW Benchmark S.A. as WIBID and WIBOR Fixing organizer and calculation agent as of 30 June 2017, has implemented the documentation adapted to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 of the European Parliament and the Council of June 8th, 2016 on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts or to measure the performance of investment funds, and amending Directives 2008/48/EC and 2014/17/EU and Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014.

Regulations for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates

Use of WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates within the scope described in clause 8.1. of the Regulations for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates takes place on the basis of an Agreement for Use of Reference Rates.

The Agreement for Use of Reference Rates specifies the commitment of the Administrator to provide Reference Rates in accordance with the terms and conditions defined by the law, as well as the commitment of the User of Reference Rates to pay a consideration to the Administrator for provision of Reference Rates. The amount of the License Fee, the rules of charging and payment of the Fee have been specified in the valid the Administrator’s Schedule of Charges, constituting an appendix to the Agreement.
