Reports on data revision

In order to ensure the transparency of provision and determination of WIRON index and POLSTR index, the Administrator presents this report on reported data revisions regarding the impact of the revisions of errors identified in the input data on the index’ history.

The purpose of the report on data revisions is to determine the difference between the last published value of the WIRON index or POLSTR index on a given Index Date and the result of the calculation made on the basis of the updated transaction set on the last business day of the quarter. The information provided concerns cases not less than 0.001 pp treated as qualified errors.

Information on data revisions will be incremental, i.e. it will take into account the impact of corrections in the input data provided in subsequent quarters of a given calendar year.

The above revisions may be due to the following reasons:

  • Delayed data delivery
    The data contributor delivered the transaction data after the prescribed deadline specified by the administrator.
  • Data correction
    The data contributor revised the transaction data after the prescribed deadline specified by the administrator.
  • Administrator system failure or other operational factors
    Failure of the administrator's system or extraordinary operational factors that affected the result of the calculation of the Reference Rates.

The report also includes cases where: the WIRON Re-Determination and Re-Distribution Procedure was applied in accordance with The Rules of the WIRON Interest Rate Index or the POLSTR Re-Determination and Re-Distribution Procedure was applied in accordance with The Rules of the POLSTR Interest Rate Index.
