Rules for Fixing WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates
The Rules for Fixing WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates had been in force since June 30th, 2017, that is, since takeover of the function of the Organizer and the Calculating Agent by GPW Benchmark S.A. until January 31st, 2018.
The Council for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates
The Council for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates, or the “WIBOR Council”, has been appointed to control fixing of WIBID and WIBOR reference rates, compliance with the Rules for Fixing WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates by the Fixing Participants and the Organizers, and to supervise correct provision and publishing of WIBID and WIBOR reference rates.
The functioning of the WIBOR Council was terminated upon implementation of the new Documentation for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates. Since February 1st, 2018, the oversight function, appointed by GPW Benchmark S.A. to ensure supervision of all aspects of provision of Reference Rates, has been the Oversight Committee.
