GPW Benchmark has initiated public consultations of methodology change of the WIG-ESG index resulting in adjustment of the revision schedule of the WIG-ESG index to the schedule of other indices from GPW Indices Family

GPW Benchmark informs that the publishing of alternative indices has been resumed on the website www.gpwbenchmark.pl

Due to the implementation of the process of daily transmission of transaction data, by Fixing Participants, resulting from the entry into force of the adjusted documentation of WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates, the Management Board of GPW Benchmark decided to carry out the necessary verification and integration of databases and suspend WIBID MKD and WIBOR MKD simulations as well as alternative indices.

Cessation of providing WIBID and WIBOR for 9M Fixing Term and change in publication time of O/N and T/N for 5:00 pm come into force on February 4th 2020, as announced in consultation process.

GPW Benchmark S.A. kindly informs that the Ministry of Finance introduced The white list of taxpayers constituting a free and electronic list of information on VAT taxpayers. Base on Clause 9.5 of the Agreement for Use of WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates, the proper changes have been introduced to the template of appendix 2 of that Agreement

As of January 1, 2020, GPW Benchmark S.A., as the administrator of benchmarks within the meaning of the BMR Regulation, takes over from GPW S.A. control over WIG-ESG and CEEplus indices

On 6 December 2019, GPW Benchmark submitted an application with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) for the authorisation as administrator of the WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates.

GPW Benchmark has completed works on the preparation of documentation adjusted to the EU Benchmark Regulation (BMR) necessary to submit the application for authorization to act as administrator of benchmarks in the meaning of the EU Benchmark Regulation (BMR), including critical benchmarks.

On the 27th of November 2019, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority granted GPW Benchmark the authorisation to act as administrator of stock exchange indexes.
