GPW Benchmark informs about changes in the Rules of Treasury BondSpot Poland index (TBSP.Index), which enter into force on 20th February 2022.
New rules consist of:
- postponement of the publication time of Index closing value to 17:20, as a result of the Bondspot S.A. methodology change of TBSP reference rates which was announced on 14th January 2022 and the Administrator’s need to effectively manage the operational risk resulting from this change;
- implementation of the new process of changing the Index methodology, along with the introduction of the so-called Key Elements of the Method (KEM), which introduce more transparent rules for determining the significance of the introduced changes to the methodology of this index.
The above amendments to the Rules do not meet, according to the analysis made by the Administrator, the criteria of a "material change" in the TBSP.Index Methodology.
