GPW Benchmark, S.A., acting as the benchmark administrator, announces that the Polish Financial Supervision Authority has designated the POLSTR (Polish Short-Term Rate) benchmark as a significant benchmark.

The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has released a statement, noting that the decision also applies to the entire POLSTR Compound Indices Family, i.e., POLSTR 1M Compound Rate, POLSTR 3M Compound Rate, POLSTR 6M Compound Rate, and the POLSTR Single-Base Index, which are mathematical transformations of the POLSTR value performed by the Administrator in accordance with the method specified in the Rules of the POLSTR Compound Indices Family.

The designation of POLSTR as a significant benchmark means that its providing is subject to the requirements of the BMR Regulation and the supervision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).
