GPW Benchmark informs about:

• commencement of public consultations regarding changes to the method for developing certain GPW Indices;
• discontinuation of the WIG20short and WIG20lev indices.

GPW Benchmark invites capital market participants to familiarize with the Consultation Document and to participate in public consultations on of proposed methodology changes of provision some indices from GPW Indices Family.

The public consultations include:

• Discontinuation of the WIG20short and WIG20lev indices.
  The planned discontinuation date for these benchmarks is September 1, 2025.
• Changes to the WIG20TRsht and WIG20TRlev index methodologies, as well as the mWIG40TRsh and mWIG40TRlv index methodologies, justified by the Administrator's own actions related to the implementation of the interest rate benchmark reform roadmap regarding the replacement of WIRON with POLSTR in the strategy index method.
  The planned effective date of the method changes is September 1, 2025.

The consultation document published by GPW Benchmark contains an analysis and a detailed description of the proposed changes, which were defined on the basis of the analytical work carried out. The consultation document together with the questionnaire are available on the Administrator's website www.gpwbenchmark.pl. The consultations will last until July 29, 2025.
