GPW Benchmark informs that the documentation of WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates aligned with the Benchmarks Regulation enters into force on February 4th, 2020 (English version coming soon).

GPW Benchmark currently undergoes an administrative proceeding before Polish Financial Supervisory Authority in order to be authorized as administrator of interest rate benchmarks including WIBOR, a critical benchmark under the Benchmark Market Regulation.

Implementation of the specific rules for the preparation of Input Data in the form of Quotes (Waterfall Method) by the Fixing Participants will be phased in over time.

At the same time, the changes to the structure and time of publication of certain WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rate  Fixing Tenors will come into force on February 4, 2020.

In relation with the above, as of February 4, 2020, the Administrator:

• ceases to calculate and publish WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates for the 9M Fixing Terms,
• publishes Fixing results for ON and TN Fixing Terms at 17:00 (publication of other Fixing Terms does not change and takes place at 11:00)
• discontinues publication of Fixing Participant’s Quotes.
