As of February 1st, 2018, the new WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates Documentation came into force, replacing the previous Rules for Fixing WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates of April 28th, 2017. The new WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates Documentation includes the Code of Conduct with appendices and the Regulations for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates. The Code of Conduct regulates the relations between GPW Benchmark S.A. and banks acting as Reference Rate Fixing Participants. The Regulations for WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates specify the rules of provision and publication of Reference Rates and the rules of use of Reference Rates by the Users. Amendment to the documentation is caused directly by the necessity to adapt  WIBID and WIBOR Reference Rates to the requirements specified in the Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 of the European Parliament and of the Council  of 8 June 2016 on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts or to measure the performance of investment funds.
