sWIG80 index is successor of WIRR index that has been calculated since December 31, 1994 and comprises 80 smaller companies listed at WSE Main List. The initial value of index was 1000 points. sWIG80 is a price index and thus when it is calculated it accounts only for prices of underlying shares whereas dividend income is excluded. The sWIG80 index excludes WIG20 and mWIG40 index participants and foreign companies listed at WSE and other markets with the market capitalization at the ranking date above the median of market capitalization of companies participating in the mWIG40 Index. The weighting of a single company is limited to 10% in the index portfolio.
