mWIG40TRlv

The mWIG40TRlv index has been calculated since March 18, 2024. mWIG40TRlv is a derivative index to the mWIG40TR index, as its values depend on the value of the mWIG40TR index. Historical values of the index have been recalculated from the base date of the index, i.e. from January 2, 2019. The first value of the index was 4,985.89 points and is equal to the closing value of the mWIG40TR index on that day. The mWIG40TRlv index is leveraged in relation to the mWIG40TR index: it follows the direction of the mWIG40TR, but with twice the magnitude, i.e. 1% rise of the mWIG40TR index will mean a 2% gain in the mWIG40TRlv index during the session. The mWIG40TR index fell by 1% during the session causes a decrease in the value of mWIG40TRlv by 2%. The cost of the capital borrowed for the purchase of shares from the mWIG40TR index portfolio is reflected in the index by the value of the WIRON interest rate index.
